Magnetometer log

Hi all!

Can't record useful data from magnetometer, it stays flat on some value with small noise around. Sometimes it records some seconds of meaningful data before it sticks to some value. What can I try? I need it to compare GPS and magnetic bearing for boat leeway measurements.

RaceChrono records raw magnetometer values, so they cannot be directly used as magnetic bearing. They would need post processing to do this.

I know that, the issue is that sometimes it doesn't record useful values, it stays fixed on some value (minus some minor noise) indipendently of the orientation of the device.
