GPS satellites limitation

Hi.

I use RaceChrono with u-blox GPS over BT and I found, that in RaceChrono I don't have more then 12 satellites, even that u-blox is fixed to e.g. 15 sat.
It's u-blox NEO M8 with GPS+SBAS+GLONASS. NMEA messages are all "translated" to GPS as I found, that RC accepts only GPS GNSS.
Why is there this limitation and does it influence anything or it's just a counter?

Thank you

The GPS (or GLONASS or ...) receiver translates the signals from the satellites to processed coordinates, speed, altitude etc. which RaceChrono then uses. So even if the app can only display 12 satellites in the satellites gauge, the recorded accuracy does not suffer because of that. So it doesn't really influence anything, as long as you configure the right NMEA sentences to be output. Generally you'd want only $GPRMC, $GPGGA, $GPGSA and $GPGSV. And even of those the two last ones are only used for the satellites gauge.

I have now GGA, GLL, GSA, RMC, VTG.
I turned off GSV because it doubles the data and it was on the edge of BT throughput.
