Creating a new track problems

I've been trying to create a new hillclimb track, using my N95 and qstar 10Hz GPS reciever. I read the manual about adding traps for start and finish, i can do this fine. but when i drive back down and go to do the hill climb the timer doesn't start and a time isn't recorded.

Any help would be great!

    Remember that the traps are unidirectional (one-way) as default. If you made the traps going opposite direction, then just edit the traps and disable "unidirectional" setting from each.
