import recorded GPS session to RaceChrono

Is this possible to import to RaceChrono GPS information that has been locally stored in the memory of an external GPS device ?
For example can we stream this GPS information as a NMEA 0183 stream in "burst mode" (so not real time) ? Or is there any other available API we can use for doing this ?
Otherwise can we import directly file, if so do you have file specification ?

    You can import a NMEA 0183 file, why not try that first? RaceChrono needs GPRMC+GPGGA sentences.
