tach loss and tach drop

I ran RC with obdkey in a 2009 Ferrari Challenge car and it worked perfect. Ran it in another 2009 Challenge car and it logged the tps but not rpm? So I know obdkey was enabled. I checked and rpm was checked on phone's rc???

Any possible reason for this?


Then I ran it in a 2000 Challenge car and while it recorded everything I noticed a few times the tach would drop to 0 and shoot back up for no reason.
