While timing laps RC shows something after each trap... what's it showing?

Hi RC Team,

When timing laps and crossing a trap, RC will display either a green or red number on the third row. It's clearly meant to show if I'm doing well or badly this lap... but what's it really showing?

Is it one of these?

1) Sector time compared to previous lap?
2) Sector time compared to best lap?
3) Split time compared to previous lap?
4) Split time compared to best lap?

It is comparing to split times. This way you can see the lap time difference 'adding up'.
